Virgin Atlantic's JFK Clubhouse occupies premium real estate in Terminal 4 — the same terminal as Delta One Lounge, Amex Centurion, and many SkyTeam international departures. Access follows Virgin rules: Upper Class passengers, Flying Club Gold members, and select Delta elite reciprocal access on Virgin-operated departures. Standard Priority Pass and Amex cardholders use other T4 lounges instead.
The Clubhouse aesthetic mirrors Heathrow T3 — mid-century influenced seating, a central bar, and à la carte dining rather than buffet chaos. Breakfast includes eggs any style, avocado toast, and pastries; afternoon service shifts to lighter mains and the full cocktail menu. On FlightLogic's visit ahead of VS46 to London, the experience felt distinctly British compared with Delta One's chef-driven US approach next door — choose based on airline and taste preference.
JFK's lack of airside terminal connectors means Clubhouse access is only viable if you depart from T4. UK travellers on BA (T8) or JetBlue (T5) cannot reach Virgin's lounge without exiting and re-clearing security.
