About Atomix
Junghyun and Ellia Park run Atomix as a single sequence — each course arrives on a numbered card, no menu in front of you until the meal is over and you can hold the whole arc in your hand. The kitchen works in the register of doenjang, gochujang, and aged soy the way a French kitchen works in stock and butter: as structure, not garnish. A given night might move from a raw hoedeopbap course built on the day's tide-pool catch to a galbi course finished tableside over binchotan, the fat rendering audibly. Portions are small enough that nothing overstays; the pacing is the point. Downstairs, Atomix Bar runs a shorter, louder version of the same ideas for walk-ins who didn't plan four weeks ahead.

The rice course arrives almost silent after everything before it — burnt, nutty, scraped straight from the pot. That single course explained the two stars more than anything flashier could have.
Response from Atomix
Thank you, Daniel — that course changes with the season and we're glad it landed. Hope to see you again in the fall rotation.

Booked the counter seats facing the kitchen; watching them plate the hoedeopbap course was worth the four-week wait on its own.

How far in advance should I book Atomix?
Reservations open on a rolling monthly basis and the dining room typically fills within days, so plan to book three to four weeks ahead — earlier for Friday and Saturday seatings.
Is there a way to eat at Atomix without a tasting-menu reservation?
Atomix Bar, the downstairs space, seats walk-ins for a shorter à la carte version of the kitchen's cooking and does not require advance booking.
